Dear readers,


It has been since "Hello" of Martin Solveig I've posted something. Mainly because I had a shortage of time and I couldn't spend to much time for this blog anymore. Since "Hello" a lot of great and mind-blowing tracks have been released. Some of my favourites:

This post is a sort of kick-off for a new period of blogposts! I probably won't be posting as much as I used to be, but from time to time I will add freshly released tracks that I like.

I also would like to inform you about a new project I've been working on lately. It's a free on-demand musicplayer that features millions of tracks. Clicking on a track gives links to biographies and discographies of the artist, and so on. I hope you will find it worth a visit and... find it worth to use as your new website to listen to music. Martin Solveig - Hello

After 'Boys and Girls' Martin Solveig collaborates again with Dragonette to make a winter-warming poppy housetrack. Beatport.com expresses 'Hello' like this: "a driving and pop soaked number featuring the sassy vocal talents of Dragonette's Martina Sorbara and a pumping, groovy hook" So... what can I say more ?

This number is remixed by some of the world-leading dance artists of the moment: Sidney Samson, Dada Life and Michael Woods ! Being able to let these DJs remix your track means you are big business and a first class producer yourself. Hooray for Martin !

Sunloverz - Fire

The sunloverz, two german dj/producers, made a lot of good house-music in the past and today they release another splendid vocal-house track. Togheter with canadian singer/actress Rosette they made a thrilling production of beats and synths.

The sunloverz and Niels Van Gogh are no strangers, they remix eachother tracks very often and it's not different this time: Niels Van Gogh boosted the track with some dirty synths. Definitely influenced by artists like 'Afrojack', if you ask me.

Masquerade EP

I bet you all have heard or read about the monday nights in Pacha Ibiza during the summer... With "the masquerade hotel" it is the second year that Sebastian Ingrosso, Steve Angello and Axwell host their own party-concept on monday in Ibiza. "Masquerade Hotel" brings back the golden times of the '60s and it was this concept that inspired Kris Menace for his "Masquerade EP" on Size Records. Steve Angello, owner of Size Records, made an edit to promote this EP.

Dr. Kucho - the rave (Tocadisco remix)

Tocadisco dig up an earlier released track of Dr. Kucho to remix it at own taste. I like this remix more, but no idea why because the original is a classy tune too... Anyway, this remix has some nice drops !

Robert Abigail & Dj Rebel ft. M.O. - Meneando (the remixes)

The original song is already a big hit on every commercial radio in Belgium. The remixes released today will be big hits on every dancefloor, that's sure. Chaosz dirty tune is really amazing ! Also Moonflower is able to give the song an extra dancefloor-impulse. I didn't like Bo Cendar tracks in the past, but this remix is really good. The remix of Robert Abigail himself is a hot mix between brasil grooves and dirty basslines. Too bad he used a terrible bomb-alarm-sound, what a shame!
