Turn Up the Bass !!

I heard a preview long ago and I was looking forward to it, so finally:
Demian Ngo & Roger Punario - Turn up the bass.

However it was released today on all musicports, I missed the first release on JunoDownload about a week ago. But I like this song so much, I had to blog about it! It has the typical high synths wich I like the most about dutch house.

Demian Ngo's songs are really amazing: 'Panya Vibe', 'Rockin it', 'Drop That Poncho', 'Hit The Floor' and many more... But also Roger Punario is an upcoming talent (in the house-scene, he was a hardstyle dj before, called RogerP) and I trully hope they become really big because their tracks are amazing.

Turbopascal - The Underground EP

Mikio „Mikimoto“ Gruschinske and Rafael Ximenez-Carillo (together: Turbopascal) are two guys with some serious house credentials. As part of the Northrine Westfalia house music scene in Düsseldorf, they have always been at the forefront of the current house revival ever since. Both guys are globetrotters and opening their minds for different cultures. As Turbopascal, it's been a long seven years since the duo kicked off their production project Plastik Funk with the memorably anthem-house grooves of "Let me see your hands“ and they've always managed to follow it up. 'The Underground' is their debut EP and is already getting major support from people like Kerri Chandler and Nick Curly or Gorge. The Turbopascal sound is varying from deep classic house and tech-house to eclectic tribal, focusing the dancefloor.

TOMORROWLAND 2009 - 25 & 26 July

It was my first time on tomorrowland and I must confess: it was a-ma-zing !!
11 stages (+ flügel island), 150 of the worlds best dj's, redbull snowvalley and P-magazine 'jacuzzi & relax' area, 90.000 visitors and -specially ordered- good weather !

After 2hrs of waiting at the campingentrance and fighting for a little space to put our tent (wich was too small) it was finally time to relax. We explored the camping and found: a cosy tent where you could smoke some water-pipe (not free), the BBQ-zone, some old sofas and chairs and the dj-boot sponsered by Red-Bull. That evening the party started with dj's like Yves V and Gaby Vegas.

On saturday, we (that's me and my brother) were the first in line at the (camping)entrance for tomorrowland '09. After a quick tour at the domain we went back to the camping for a nice BBQ. Later that day we saw: felix da housecat, Daniel Bovie & Roy Rox, afrojack, chuckie, martin solveig, Pat Krimson, Regi & Wout, les petites pilous and Dada life. Some of them we saw an hour, others just an half-hour due 'not enough time'. For us was Dada Life really special: we saw them while sitting in a jacuzzi ! Yes, thanks to P-magazine you had the chance to view mainstage while relaxing in a jacuzzi, with babes and strawberries-with-chocolate ! I probably don't have to explain what's special about that ;) !

After a rather short night we went on sunday to Armand Van Helden, The Subs, David Guetta, dirty south, Dave Lambert, Coone, Sound of Stereo and Moby.
However Paul van Dyk was the last artist on mainstage, the end of Moby (before Paul van Dyk) was really amazing and wonderful ! It started with some flames and smaller firework but exploded into an astonishing load of firework, hard beats and a freaking lasershow !

We also tried the 'Red-Bull snowvalley', wich was fun, but not as much as the jacuzzis on saturday !
